General Information

Iron casting cranks and cylinders, low-speed operated pistons, corrosion and heat resistant stainless steel valves, cooling roller cylinders and top heads, ensure the longevity of WAVE series medium pressure piston air compressors.

Wave series compressors can achieve low compression rates with W-type compressor design and as a result, minimum energy is consumed for cooling with low output air temperatures. In this series which can operate even at 55 °C and 24 hour loads in a stable and high performance way, minimum power transfer losses can be achieved with direct coupled motor-piston connection

WAVE series medium pressure reciprocating air compressor models are designed to operate successfully in different application areas. Low operating costs are ensured by the high performance and quality parts used in the production and assembly of the products, which are designed to be easily adapted and learned by all levels of users, and long maintenance intervals.

The WAVE series provides users with flexible working conditions with its electronic control module that offers adjustable working pressure in the range of 12-45 bar at continuous load and effective system control.

Our products are manufactured to work successfully in different application areas. High performance and quality parts used in production and installation of products designed to be easily adapted and learnt by users at all levels provide long maintenance intervals and consequently low operating expenses.

  • It has high-strength iron cast cranks; oil level indicator positioned on the crankcase so that it is easily accessible, bluff valve and oil filling/drain plugs.
  • Iron cast cylinders and top heads with cooling fans help the system to operate at lower temperatures.
  • Steel cast crankschafts and their counterweights which have been designed to have dynamic balance and which have gone through sensitive production stages ensure long service life.
  • Special alloy aluminum pistons suitable for Lloyd certification and steel cast biel arms ensure the performance of the compressor even in harsh conditions with high heat transfer in addition to putting less pressure on the crankshaft.
  • Specially designed finger type high capacity suction - force valves made of stainless steel in stage 1 provide high airflow capacity, Suction-force valves specially designed for medium pressure conditions in stage 2 ;on the other hand, keeps airflow at the maximum level, ensuring that the upper head temperatures remain at the optimal level.
  • Compression and oil rings are used to keep airflow to a maximum level and prevent oil passage.
  • High efficiency IE2 efficiency class IP55 motors are used as standard in WAVE series compressors.
  • The crankshaft is driven by direct coupling between the compressor block and the main motor with 1:1 transmission.
  • Unlike its competitors, the WAVE series ensures that the compressor block operates at optimum temperatures with a radiator that provides four-stage (three-stage air, one-stage oil) cooling.
  • The first stage of the W64 and W108 models and both the first and second stages of the W166 and W210 models are pre-cooled by concentric valves with cooling fins to increase the performance of the radiator.
  • The radiator fan is directly coupled to the main engine, preventing the use of extra fan motor.
  • Unlike conventional reciprocating compressors, the pistons are not lubricated by a beater but by an oil pump powered by the main engine.
  • The oil drawn from the bottom of the crankcase reaches the cylinders through the oil channels on the crankshaft and connecting rod after passing through the radiator and oil filter. This ensures effective lubrication of the crankshaft and connecting rod bearings.

The water vapor condensed in the radiator cooling stages and in the conical separator that meets the outlet air is transferred to the water discharge collector via the discharge system.

  • Made of composite material, the canopy offers lightness and aesthetics in appearance.
  • Cooling performance is enhanced by adjusting the baffle plate so that the air drawn by the radiator passes through the cooling fins on the cylinders and headers.
  • All moving and hot parts are covered to prevent problems that may occur during operation.
  • Soft-starter
  • Oil heater
  • IE3 efficiency class main motor
  • Remote compressor control
  • Optional diesel engine
  • Input mains voltage options other than 380V/3 phase/50Hz
